Eat

Dobrumba

Nicely designed menu card. Mouth-wateringly delicious high quality Mediterranean dishes, affordable prices. Interior is improvable but it is definitely worth to visit. Must try: The selection of 5 different Mezzes.

  

Semmi Extra

Old cinema converted into cool restaurant, located in Buda side. Nicely decorated interior. Possible to eat outside in shiny days. Must try: Homemade hamburgers

Mysore pack

Roomy vegan restaurant in peaceful Buda side. Very nice interior, cosy atmosphere, lovely people. Must try: Dosa bread 

Drink 

Sirius teaház

Playground for tea-lover adults. Very casual seating on the floor. Extremely cute a-lot-to-discover interior. Must try: Enter through the wardrobe, pass the mirror stairs, climb up and enjoy your tea like a boss!

Csendes Vintage Bar

Another less-known ruin cafe/pub in Budapest with crazy amount of stuff all around. Very good location. Tea is worth to try too. 

Élesztő

Nice interior. Famous for handcrafted beers. Very cute market on Sundays. Must try: Roll the dice at the bar and randomly choose your handcrafted beer.

Púder Bárszínház

Located in famous restaurant street, Raday utca. Crazy paintings and illustrations on the walls. Unique atmosphere. Must try: Have some drink in the huge window sill.

Azték Choxolat!

Small hidden gem in Budapest. Located in cosy backyard. Perfect for warming up in winter times. Must try: White hot chocolate with nuts inside. 

Stroll & Enjoy

Mikszáth Kálmán tér

Extremely peaceful little square, surrounded by nice cafes. Good place to sit down, relax and experience the local life. Tip: Arrive from Baross Street to double the nice feeling of the square.

Szimpla Farmers Market and Open Buffet Brunch

We all know that Szimpla is probably the most famous ruin pub in Budapest. The reason why we include it in this list is the market on Sundays and open buffet brunch upstairs. It is worth to try, also nice to see Szimpla in daylight.
